world badminton (BWF) officially released the lottery results for the 2019 Sudirman Cup which will take place in Nanning, 19-26 May 2019. Indonesia also joined in Group 1B with Denmark and England.

Seeing the results of the draw, the Head of Development and Achievement of PBSI, Susy Susanti, is optimistic that he will pass the group phase which will fight for two tickets. He said he would set his best strategy to improve the Sudirman Cup results two years ago which failed to qualify from the group stage.

"In this group we are joined by a European team. Denmark is a strong team, England is also not an easy opponent. But we are still optimistic and must be positive. It's difficult, no, but it's easy too. Because the strength of opponents, especially Denmark, is quite even, "Susy said, quoting from the official PBSI website

At the 2019 Sudirman Cup, Indonesia was seeded in third place and got quite a favorable result. While the hell group came from the 1D group which brought together China, India and Malaysia.
